Christmas lights designed, installed, fixed while they are up and taken down in January. Priced per foot of roofline, with the footage on your quote.
From$550$5 per foot of roofline. Minimum $550.

We design, install, fix and take down Christmas lighting on Terre Haute homes, priced per foot of roofline. Type your address and you will see your own house from the air with its roofline measured: choose what to light and the price is on the screen. We confirm the footage before we send the quote, and it is printed on the quote so you can check it.
What it costs
Priced per foot of roofline. Gutters and eaves are one rate; a gable edge climbing to a peak is priced by how steep the roof is. Your quote names the rate and the footage for every run.
- 150 feet of gutters and eaves
- $750
- The minimum install, whatever the footage
- $550
- Trees and shrubs, from
- $25a strand
| Where the lights go | Per foot |
|---|---|
| Gutters and eaves | $5 |
| Gable edges, 4–6 pitch | $6 |
| Gable edges, 6–8 pitch | $7 |
| Gable edges, 8+ pitch | $8 |
The figures are arithmetic on today's published rates, not a quote. Yours is priced on your own roofline.
What's included
In the price
- A design walk on your house, so not every line gets lit just because it can
- The lights. Commercial-grade C9 and mini bulbs, in any colour. They are ours, leased to you for the season, so there is nothing to buy
- Runs cut to your roof, with no slack hanging off the garage corner
- Clips, not nails or staples, in your fascia, shingles or gutters
- A timer, set up and running
- Repairs through 24 December, at no charge, most within 72 hours
- Takedown in the first week of January
- Storage until next season, labelled to your house. Install, takedown and storage are all in the per-foot price, with no separate charge for any of them
Not included
- Electrical work. If your outlets cannot carry the display, we tell you before install day
- Gutter or fascia repair. We point it out; we do not fix it
- Homes above three storeys
- Indoor decorating and inflatables
When to book
Installs run from late October into early December, and the lights stay dark on the timer until the date you want them on. An October install is faster and safer: clipping a roofline at 58 degrees is a different job from clipping it at 28, and Terre Haute's average first frost is October 19.
There is no booking cutoff: the weather decides, and we stop when the snow comes. The two weeks before Thanksgiving fill first.

Questions
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Terre Haute?
$5 per foot of roofline. Minimum $550. Gable edges on steeper roofs cost more per foot; the table above has every rate. Type your address to see your roof measured and choose what to light — the price is on the screen, and we confirm the footage before we send the quote.
Is there a deposit?
Yes: 10% of the quote, due within 24 hours of reserving your install date, with the balance on completion. The deposit is what holds the date.
Do I own the lights, or do you?
We do. The lights are ours, leased to you for the season: we put them up, fix them, take them down and store them, and there is nothing to buy or hand back. Next year you pay what you paid this year, with no increase and no discount.
What if a section goes out in December?
Tell us and we fix it at no charge, usually within 72 hours, through 24 December.
Can you use the lights I already have?
No. We only hang our own lights: commercial-grade C9 and mini runs, cut to your roofline and leased to you for the season.
When do the lights come down?
In the first week of January, and it is part of the price. You do not need to call to arrange it, and there is no second invoice. If you are hosting something in early January and want them up longer, tell us.
What customers say
Royal Acres was wonderful to work with for Christmas Light installation. They responded to my call for a quote quickly and came out ahead of schedule to install the lights. They did a fantastic job and the lights are so beautiful!
Ami H.Read it on Google Called for estimate and they were there in a couple days. They installed the lights that week. Lights are nice and straight to the roof line. Front porch posts are nice and even. No extra lights just hanging down. Looks better than I expected. My wife is especially happy. Now she’ll probably want more lights next year. Oh well. Happy wife Happy life…….
Gary H.Read it on Google Royal Acres provided options for Christmas lights and then showed up the same day to get the job done. They even made a last second change to get the lights exactly how my wife and I wanted them. Great service. Very professional.
